Sight/High Frequency Words

What: This assessment measures a student's sight word knowledge.

Who: This is designed for students in grades Pre-K to 12.

When: You would use this when you want to learn how a student reads words, whether by sight or analysis, on grade level.

Instructions: Given the student a list of words, starting with Pre-Primer list, and have he or she read it.

 

Note: Record if student knows word by sight or if the student tries to decode the word.
